My role with Sustainable Cayman focuses on social media and journalism. Analysing and writing about different social issues is where I find the most enjoyment, right alongside being able to make those analyses digestible to the general public. I hope to pursue a career in policy analysis and journalism in Cayman after university so that I can use all of the skills I’ve learned to enact sustainable change.

Hi! My name is Dani, and I am currently pursuing an MSc degree in Marine Environmental Management after studying at the University of Plymouth for a BSc in Ocean Science and Marine Conservation. Through my seasonal internship with the Department of Environment, I developed a passion for sea turtle conservation and research. I hope to expand environmental awareness within the Cayman Islands, help promote sustainable living and development, and collaborate with other Caribbean islands to create a better future for our region and communities.
